San Carlos is a small town of 30,000 in Northern California, halfway between San Francisco and Silicon Valley. As citizens of San Carlos, we love our close knit, vibrant town and pride ourselves as being “The City of Good Living.”
Our community has been very concerned about the recent national rise in hateful rhetoric, racism, and bigotry. In the spring of 2017, the San Carlos City Council declared San Carlos a "Welcoming City". This declaration reaffirmed San Carlos' commitment to be a welcoming place to everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. All are accepted, welcomed and considered integral to the fabric of our community.
